A Tale Written in Color, A Journey Flowing with Rhythm
From the Book:
“Spring Lake Hotel was like a magical pink box that held Lily’s childhood. Even if she grew up, even if the cats gave birth to new kittens, and even if the stones of the hotel wore down a little over time—these memories would keep echoing in the waters of the lake.”
Spring Lake Hotel is a captivating story, written in line with literary theorist Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey structure and enriched with values grounded in child pedagogy.
In this tale, we follow the journey of Lily—a joyful and curious little girl—who begins to notice that time flows differently at the lakeside hotel. With her three cats, and alongside ducks, rabbits, squirrels, turtles, and other charming animal friends, she sets out not only to rediscover time, but also the invisible threads that connect people to one another.
With vivid imagery, playful dialogues, and emotionally intelligent narration, this story gently conveys values such as empathy, cooperation, cultural diversity, emotional awareness, and reconciliation with the past.
Written with the elegance of color harmony and the natural rhythm of storytelling, Spring Lake Hotel offers children a soft mirror of real-life values—told in a tender, magical voice that never underestimates them, but embraces them fully.
This book, designed for children aged 5 to 9, can be read at bedtime or shared in classroom settings. It reveals the healing power of sharing, the magic of togetherness, and what a brave little girl’s heart can transform.
